Aaron's Ireland Journal

October 10, 1999

And so, it’s all over.

I’m back in America, and it seems like Northern Ireland and Project: Evangelism are a million miles away from my mind.

And then I get an invitation.

It seems someone out there wants me to lead a team of my peers back to Ireland and the tutelage of John Moxen this Spring.

And so, our little focus on Ireland doesn’t end. It just gets bigger.

I can’t explain to you the burden I have for the people of Northern Ireland. They’re so similar, yet so different. They have a faith that’s so close to the real thing… just twisted and manipulated and thrown off course by years of rebellion and destruction. All they need is to be pointed in the right direction.
For whatever reason, God has put a man named John Moxen, a simple man with a a simple faith the God will prevail, on this little island and is using him to facilitate the beginnings of the revolution. And I want to continue to chase that whirlwind of God’s movement…
I knew I’d go back. I just didn’t know it would be so soon.

It’s tough being told to go back. All the funds I raised, all the prayer I asked for… I have to start all over again. But it’s a blessing I will not question. I’ll just go back.

And so, I ask that you begin praying for myself, the team that God’s putting together, John Moxen and Project: Evangelism, and the people of Northern Ireland. It’s an honor to know that I have such prayer warriors as yourselves to take care of me. Thank you.
